Frequently Asked Questions
FAA Part 107 Certified
I am FAA Part 107 Certified to pilot Unmanned Aerial Systems, otherwise known as drones.
What is the best time for a session?
Drones can fly best when there is very little wind. Rain is never a good time to fly or capture quality imagery. If it rains or if the wind kicks up, then I’ll reschedule your photos at no extra cost to you.
Are permits required?
Some HOAs may require prior authorization to fly in a neighborhood. If you live in an HOA, please check.
How long will the shoot last?
Drone sessions may take an hour. If you are ordering interior and exterior images as well, then the entire period could be two hours or longer. I’ll don’t like to rush, so I’ll make sure I’m getting the images you want. It may take longer.
What type of drone do you fly?
My current drone is a DJI Air 3S that has a pretty cool camera.
What do I need to do to prepare?
I have a checklist that you may use. Give yourself plenty of time to get it prepared. We want the images to be excellent, which means that preparation has to be excellent too!
